Air Fryer – Perfect Boiled Eggs!

Perfectly Dippy Air Fryer Eggs

The ultimate breakfast hack: no water, no waiting, just perfect soldiers every time.

If you love a classic soft-boiled egg with a golden, runny yolk but hate the guesswork of boiling water, this recipe is for you. Using the air fryer ensures a consistent, gentle heat that delivers the perfect “dip” for your toast soldiers, every single morning.

Prep time: 1 minute

Cook time: 9 minutes

Ingredients

  • Country Lane Foods Eggs
  • Thick-cut bread (for your sourdough or white loaf soldiers)
  • Salt and cracked black pepper
  • Butter (for the toast)

Equipment
Air Fryer

Egg cups

Method
1. Place your cold eggs directly into the air fryer basket. You don’t need to wait for a pot to boil or even preheat the machine. Ensure they are in a single layer with a little space between them for the air to circulate.

2. Set your air fryer to 135°C.

For the perfect runny yolk: Cook for 9 minutes.

If you prefer a slightly thicker yolk: Cook for 10 minutes.

3. While the eggs are “frying,” toast your bread and spread generously with butter. Cut into thick strips (soldiers) ready for dipping.

4. Serve Immediately
Once the timer goes off, remove the eggs carefully (they will be hot!) and place them straight into egg cups. Unlike hard-boiled eggs, there is no need for an ice bath here—we want to eat them while they are warm and gooey.

5. Crack and Dip
Slice off the tops, add a pinch of salt and pepper, and enjoy the easiest dippy eggs you’ve ever made.

Top Tips for Success
Know Your Power: Air fryer wattages vary. The first time you try this, we recommend testing one egg. If it’s a little too soft for your liking, just add 60 seconds to the timer next time.

Fresh is Best: Use Country Lane Foods eggs for the richest, most golden yolks.

Don’t Crowd: If you are cooking a dozen eggs at once, they may need an extra minute as the airflow is more restricted.
